Sons of Mile High is a tailgating group that is as much about friends and having a good time as it is our beloved Broncos. We are in no way affiliated with the Denver Broncos or Empower Field, we need to make that perfectly clear. What we are however, is a tailgating group like no other. Started by Mike, Melissa and Chris we welcome new friends regardless of their favorite teams. As a matter of fact, some of the most fun is had when opposing fans come by!
We started this little group of merry men and women after noticing a lot of the more popular tailgating crews have that clique or “private party” vibe. That just isn’t what tailgating should be about and certainly not what a parking lot party in Denver should be about. Denver is known for their rabid and loyal fan base, and we aim to help further it’s rep for top-notch tailgating. Whether it’s awesome food and plentiful beverages or the latest games and gadgets, we really strive to make the pre-game events just as fun as the game itself. I’m flying in from Alabama this weekend for the Pats game. I’m bringing a fellow Broncos fan so she can attend a game in Mile High. We’ve been to games all over but she has never to a home game. Hey Sons, I am coming in from the Florida Keys to see my first Broncos game. My wife and I will be staying downtown and taking Uber to the game or walking. I hear the tailgating is amazing at Mile High and being without a vehicle makes it tough..lol. My wife and kids ages 5 and 10 are coming in from Texas for the Jacksonville game Sunday the 29th. Are kids welcome at the tailgate or is it more of an adult type atmosphere?

We’re driving in from KC for the 10/17 Thursday night game. We’re Chiefs season ticket holders and travel to an away game each year. This one is special; it’s a father son road trip; me and my 81 year old dad (Bob); and my buddy (Michael), and his 27 year old son (little Mike) who is an Air Force Academy grad and current Air Force piolet who’ll be home on leave from Afghanistan (big surprise for him). We tailgate for each and every Chiefs home game and would like to join a fun tailgate atmosphere in Denver that is accepting of visiting fans; albeit CHIEFS fans. And your group seems to fit the bill. It looks like its Lot N this year for you guys. I’m interested in further information on parking pass purchase info, buy it on Stub Hub? when to arrive, how to get there, how to get out of there and head towards Silverthorne after the game, etc. Email might be best to connect.
